A team of computer scientists and sociologists, in collaboration with Google DeepMind, has developed an AI system capable of creating a digital personality model based on a two-hour interview. The study is published on arXiv.
Built on the foundation of ChatGPT, the system analyzes responses during the interview and generates a model that can replicate answers with approximately 85% accuracy. Accuracy is validated by comparing real and simulated responses to identical questions.
The developers aim to accelerate sociological research by reducing the time and
resources required for surveys and data analysis.
