Intel's annual shareholder report features a letter from CEO Lip-Bu Tan, outlining the company’s strategic roadmap. Tan confirmed Intel’s ongoing commitment to cutting costs by $10 billion and reducing its workforce by 15%, aiming to streamline operations and prioritize investments in critical areas. He emphasized the importance of aligning with customer needs and acting on their feedback.

Looking ahead, Intel is focused on reinforcing its position in the processor market, with plans to launch Panther Lake in late 2025 and Nova Lake in 2026. However, there was no mention of graphics cards or the graphics division in the report. Since the release of the new Battlemage cards, Intel Graphics has remained quiet, with no updates to share. Additionally, Intel aims to broaden its product portfolio, including introducing AI-powered PCs.
